I was born in one of the most beautiful countries in the world - Slovenia in 1975. While studying in completely different fields (Mechanical Engineering, Philosophy and Library and Information Science) I was doing 3D on the side all the time. Soon my hobby turned into more and more frequent freelance jobs until I decided to take a fulltime employment in 2006. During that time I worked as a Maya 3D generalist mostly on commercials and I really enjoyed it, but my true love always lied in animation and storytelling. Unfortunately there was no way to study this in my home country, so AnimationMentor online animation school came as a blessing. As I completed the 18 month Curriculum, I was also able to make my, I could say, 10 year old dream come true - to make my first short film. "Daphne's new broom" has exceeded my expectation many times with numerous festival screenings, internet animation contest awards, magazine reviews and the super positive feedback I have received from the community.

As unfortunately there is no future for me as a full time character animator in my country at the moment, I have decided to pursue my dream in the UK film industry. I moved to London in 2008 and hope to find a job in one of the London studios. I am also developing my next short film.

PERSONAL WORK ETHICS:	I consider myself hardworking, always striving for the best possible quality of work no matter how tight the deadline is. Ability to quickly embrace the changes and maintaining a professional relationship with my employer is of utmost importance to me. Team work, exchange of ideas and experiences and always channeling the feedback into pushing the limits of my abilities further is the only way to grow as an animator and, perhaps even more important - as a person.
